The LCS Athletic Boosters exists to support the LCS Athletic Department with words and actions that will help meet financial needs in the athletic programs, promote athletic opportunities and achievement, and foster a biblical perspective of athletics. All LCS parents of a LCS student athlete are welcome to participate in the Booster Club.
The Athletic Boosters Club will carry out this mission in accordance with the existing mission of Lenawee Christian School, which states: We exist in partnership with the family and church to integrate biblical truth for life with a commitment to glorifying Jesus Christ through academic excellence and spiritual maturity.
The 4 Pillars of ABC:
- School Spirit – The Athletic Boosters Club will seek to create and nurture a
general atmosphere of school spirit and promote enthusiasm for the school’s athletic program. - Fundraising – The Athletic Boosters Club will be responsible for organizing and managing the fundraising activities necessary to meet its goals and objectives. The Athletic Boosters Club will seek to coordinate their efforts with the Development office at LCS.
- Athletic Program Development – The Athletic Boosters Club will support the Athletic Department. The Athletic Boosters Club will offer advice to the Athletic Director concerning athletic activities and helping to supply resources to support athletic programs.
- Community Building – The Athletic Boosters Club will strive to better acquaint members of LCS community, the coaches, teachers, administration, and parents of LCS with one another so that LCS programs will be more effective and enjoyable.
ABC Invested Resources:
- Athletic team equipment
- Game and analytic sport technology
- Coaching development and training
- Purchased a new sound system for Cougar Field ($25k investment)
- Contributed $25k to help invest and install a brand new Track at Cougar Field.
- Invested $60k in the last 2 years to benefit LCS Athletics
